About us

Vision ELAP
Our vision is rooted in the understanding of Life as a Continuum. That is a knowing embedded in all of us, in our body, in our cells …that is natural knowing. And yet in our present times, it seems to be a true quest to regain contact with nature in us! Realizing that we are in the world but not of the world is the first step, the Art is the living of this realization.

Dance is a work and a practice that allows us to tap into our true nature, beyond conditioning, and from that place we are able to move, talk and live.

When our movement material is organized in space and time it opens up a world of imagery, poetry and musicality that brings, next to pure joy, insight into how we wish to relate with ourselves and our environment.

Our intention and our endeavor is to initiate and cultivate a frame for dance rooted into somatic work and contextualized into composition and the performative, transcending  the dichotomy of body and mind and tapping into the full potential of communication.

Marisa Grande

Grande is a dance and theater professional for over 30 years coming from a solid background of somatics. Teaching Improvisation as a methodology is her pure strength. Marisa’s crisp knowledge of embodied anatomy and applied philosophy to dance is taking the exploration of the mover into a deeper and more meaningful dimension.

In her career she has been teaching, guiding and coaching dancers, actors and musicians with a remarkable precision and depth, having a keen eye of what is present and relevant for the process of the individual in relation to the group. Marisa’s artistic work is transforming the individual and the group through a process of integration of multi-disciplines, community and nature into ‘the performative’; pioneering in the art of dance.
